I just got a book of cryptograms from my friend for Christmas and I thought I'd spread the fun.

For those of you that have never done cryptograms, it's actually a really simple game. Each letter of the message corresponds to a different letter of the alphabet. The coded letter will correspond to the actual letters throughout the entire cryptogram. Once all the letters are replaced with their actual letter, the random jumble should form a readable sentence or phrase.

For example: SGQL QL BR KABHXEK, forms the message: THIS IS AN EXAMPLE.

If no one can guess the cryptogram, the book has hints to help out. You can also post puzzles of your own when you feel like it! Now to the game, I'll start off with the first one in the book:

First I figured out the smaller words. That didn't help much. Since it said QQ so often, and not very many letters are double like that, Q=L. And it was pretty easy after that.

I did it! I wasn't able to solve the last puzzle. T_T
