Out of Character Rules
1. Always be respectful to everyone. If disagreements arise, they can be worked out maturely. 2. Curse words are allowed here, but when used out of character, try not to use them excessively, or to belittle other users. 3. If someone is already using the name you want to use for your character, try PMing them to ask if they would mind you creating a character with the same name. Don't flip out if they say no. 4. If someone is already using a photo you want to use as your avatar/signature, find another one.
In Character Rules 1. No magic, elements, wings, odd fur colors, extra tails, etc. 2. Odd eye colors are allowed. 3. Jewelry is allowed, but ONLY if in your character's history there is an explanation for how it got there. The only way a wolf can acquire an accessory is if it was put there by a human at some point. 4. No Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus. Your character must have SOME flaws, both in personality and physical ability. Perfection is boring. 5. No graphic breeding on the boards, ending the scene before any of that occurs is preferable. If you want to do graphic breeding, take it to PMs. 6. There is no limit to how many characters you can have, but try to keep them all active. 7. If you are tired of using one of your characters, put it up for adoption or kill it off. If you are tired of playing a character but don't want to get rid of it, try creating some story about how it went to live alone or got captured by humans or something, put '(Inactive)' in the thread title of its bio, and then bring it back when you want to. 8. You can't play your own character's mate, that just discourages interaction. Feel free to play your character's family members, but its sometimes more fun to have someone else do it. If your character needs family members, friends, or enemies, you can try posting on the 'plotting' board to try and find someone who will have their character play one of those roles for you. 9. No godmoding or power playing. 10. When fighting, we use the dodge-dodge-hit method. That means if you dodge the first two attempted attacks from your opponent, the third one has to hit. 11. When attacking your opponent, leave all attacks open. For example, saying "Luna lunged at the other wolf, her open jaws aiming for his neck." would be correct, while saying, "Luna lunged at the other wolf and closed her jaws around his neck." would be wrong, because it gives the other person no time to react. 12. We allow liquid time here, meaning your character can be in more than one different thread at once. Just don't enter a new thread unless you are active on every other thread. Its really rude to post in one thread while ignoring the people you're rping with in a different thread.
