Appearance: Cassel is definitely something to look at. Perhaps it's not exactly that he is handsome, for he doesn't think himself as handsome, but it is for the striking color of his pelt. It is rather full, and Cassel is a darker gray in general. Mostly black and dark brown, with gray on his chest, face and underbelly. Cassel has long, muscular legs from years of hunting on his own, but can at times look foreboding because of his bulk. Cassel has bright yellow eyes, that appear to almost glow if the sun hits them just in the right spot.

Personality: Cassel is not the type of wolf that is easily approached. He is closed off most of the time, and is usually strict with his pack. The best way to put it is like this; he is a good leader that can keep his pack in check, but they might resent him a little for his harshness. Cassel is not evil or mean spirited in any way, as a matter of fact, Cassel is kind hearted at his best. Of course, it is hard to get a kind response from Cassel, as he tends to either give negative or sarcastic replies to everything. Cassel believes in honesty and trust before everything else; the last time he lied was when he was a pup, and it is hard to gain his trust after what has happened in his past. He isn't outwardly rude to anyone, and tries to act...civil, if you must. He doesn't pick favorites, and treats others pretty much all the same.

History: Cassel was born to a small pack consisting of his alpha parents and one subordinate who had yet to prove herself as good enough to become beta. There was a great deal of struggle as Cassel grew up with his two litter mates, as food was scarce and his father was not the best of hunters. Nothing major happened until Cassel's father got killed by a buck. After that, Cassel's siblings dropped one by one of starvation. The subordinate female took this as her chance to escape and left without another word. it was just him and his mother. Cassel was nearing one year of age when this happened. He traveled with his mother, but could tell easily that she was getting weaker. One night, she promised to be with him forever. At the time, Cassel thought nothing of it and was just happy to have his mother with him. When morning came, she'd left. Cassel searched for her but never could find her.</sup>
