Name: Jasmine Gender: Female Age: Two Years Breed: Grey Wolf X Husky mix Pack: Divisia Rank: Member Mate: -- Offspring: --
Appearance: Jas was once told by her mother that it was hard to look at her and not see her father. And Jas' mother was right, for Jas looks nothing like a wolf and more like the father that sired her. With her thick, light red and white pelt, she has all the markings of her father's Siberian Husky breeding, with wolfish features from her mother. Her icy blue orbs, that she was told were constantly mocking her mother, are another shocker when she first meets someone. Her pelt is thick but soft. You can also add her constantly curled tail to her similarities to her sire. However, the long legs and slightly slim build, with more muscle than anything to her mother's bloodline.
Personality: Well, I guess the best way to start off describing Jasmine would be . . . she is frightfully afraid of males. Anyone that has testosterone running through their veins, that she doesn't know from the pack, she will run and hide. If she can't run, then she becomes very defensive. Having had a bad start in life, she doesn't enjoy the feeling of being trapped and will fight tooth and nail to get to freedom. This, in turn, makes her a very non-trusting female, at least when it comes to those who aren't part of the pack.
However, if your part of the Divisia pack, then you have her undivided attention and respect. Since she is young and has been with the pack since her yearling days, she sees the Divisia pack as her new family, having had to bury her mother shortly after arriving in the lands.
She is still pretty young, which means she is playful, if in the right environment. Completely and utterly hyper, never seeming to run out of energy. Though she doesn't talk much, she can, just from a young age she was told females don't speak unless spoken to. She's slowly growing out of that stage. In fact, there are a lot of things, if your paying attention, that you will see single her out. At the same time, she seems to have the disposition of a whipped dog, if you actually sit back and watch her. Never seeming to stay in one place for a long period of time. Unless she is alone or around her packmates, then her tail is tucked very tightly between her legs. Audits almost always pinned to her skull. Eyes downcast, voice low and soft.
History: Born the second daughter of a wolf mother and a husky father, Jasmine never really fit into either world. Blah, blah, blah. This isn't the way that Jasmine's story starts off. No, there was no lover between Jas' parents, instead, her mother pined for a beautiful Husky that she had seem time and time again from a far off distance. When her mother was finally able to get Jas' father alone, away from his human's and team, she found him to a disgustingly controlling dog. The fact that Jas' mother was able to get away with Jas was a miracle in itself.
The first couple of months of Jas' life was spent beside a human's fire. In fact, she came to love the humans that seemed to be dominate over her and her family. Yet, she never understood where she ranked as far as the pack that her mother spoke of often. In fact, it didn't seem that her mother understood either. By the time she was four months old, Jasmine didn't even know she was a wolf. It wasn't until her siblings, the ones that the humans had accepted as more Husky than herself, began teasing her that her mother explained that the way she was shaped made the humans see her as a wolf. No matter her pelt color, she would always be a wolf pup. So that night, Jas and her mother escaped.
Once they were free, Jas and her mother never really settled down due to her mother's constant fear of being found. By the time that Jas was year old, she had seen more of the world than she ever thought was there. Then the unthinkable happened. Jas' father found her and her mother on a beautiful beach. When the nasty Husky went for her mother, Jas acted on instinct and went for her father's throat. Being only a year old and severely outmatched by her father, Jas found herself under her father's paw, staring up at his fangs. The last thing she remembers is seeing her father's fangs coming down at her face. When she came too, her mother was laying against her back and she was speaking to someone just out of sight. Slowly, painfully, icy blue orbs opened, taking in her first sight of the creature that saved her and her mother. "Easy, my little one," her mother whispered, licking at her muzzle and calming her. "We're safe now . . . and we're Divisia wolves," Jasmine heard, hearing the sudden pride in her mother's voice. They were apart of a pack?
It was a couple of days before Jasmine was able to stand once more. It seemed that when she had attacked her father, to save her mother, Jasmine had ended up being slammed into the ground, rather hard, which had resulted in her blacking out and not remembering anything after seeing her father fixing to attack her. It was a horrible image to have, but her mother said that they would never have to deal with him again. That . . . Salizar had saved them. The wolves that suddenly seemed to appear from every bush all spoke of how lucky she was. That she was tough and would be a fine young female when she grew. She felt nothing like what the pack, her pack now, said she was and would be. Instead, she felt unwanted and unworthy of their praise.
By the time she actually met Salizar, young Jasmine was nothing more than a shell of the youthful pup that her mother knew her to be. In fact, the day she actually met Salizar, she kept trying to get away from him and in the end, her mother had to let her go. She fled her first meeting with her new Alpha Male and didn't return for several days. Hunger drove her back and her mother welcomed her back, while the pack seemed a bit colder toward her. After that, she seemed to slowly become the old pup she use to be, even warming up to Salizar.
A few days shy of her second year, Jasmine's mother passed away. It was hard leaving her mother's body, but when Jasmine walked away, she walked away as her mother would have wanted her too, with her head held high.
