One Time {Open}

The young she-wolf swiftly padded along the edge of the meadow. Looking around she scanned the area for any danger. Danger wasn't something she wanted to run across right now, with the way she was feeling. Silently moving among the meadows edge, her eyes kept scanning the area for anything. Nothing was in sight not one single animal except maybe a small deer coming in sight up ahead. But once it caught sight of Xena it took off running the other way. Why must it run away? I'm not going to kill it. Lowering her head she looked at the ground. Today was the worst day she ever had. Xena hasn't even met one other wolf while roaming this area. Although she caught lots of wolves scents she didn't want to go roaming for them as that can cause her to go into a territory. Looking for a pack right now wasn't on her list, Well if she had a list that is. Lifting her head up she trotted over towards the middle of the meadow. Glancing around once more she didn't see anything. "Well since nobody's around I guess I will just relax." Xena laid down on her side closing her eyes. Maybe she needed some rest. Yes thats what she needed, Not having slept in a couple of hours she was still tired.

Waking up about twenty minutes later wasn't part of her plan, but oh well. Groaning she sat up so she was sitting on her rump. Holding her nose up to the air she sniffed. "Nope, Nobody's been here since I was sleeping. Wonder if anybody picked up on my scent so far." Sitting up all the way she made it to where she was standing all the way. Shaking off her pure white coat she strenched out her front paws and hind end. Flicking her tail she pricked her ears. Listening for anything. Silently she let out a small howl. Just enough to be heard if anybody was close to the quiet meadow. Yea Xena was quiet at times but she hated to be lonely. Being lonely was one of her weakness, which is why she hated it. Growling she kicked a rock watching it go flying a few feet away from her.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,420,true][bg=f3e795] OOC: I'm sorry it took so long to respond. Waiting is a muse-killer, I know, I'm very sorry. A howl pierced through the ear and threatened to burst her eardrums. Her skin jumped, and her teeth nearly collided with her tongue. Looking back down at what she was doing, the dirt strewn about delightfully, and her treat nearby, she felt torn between her instincts, answering the call, or burying her kill. Deciding that one made more sense to her than the other, she grappled with the lifeless body until she could get a good hold on it's neck and chest, and began to half-carry, half-drag it towards the location that the sound had originated. The awkward bird was even harder to tote about than it looked, precariously balanced in her mouth, threatening to topple out, or completely unbalance her with every step, as if the bird's dead wishes were those of malice, attempting to laugh at all who dared to take a bite of it's soon to rot corpse. As nature's vacuum cleaner, she felt it was her job to eat anything edible, after all, beggars couldn't be choosers. Out of spite, she gripped her teeth down into the bird harder, hoping to hear some squeal of apology, but of course, none came. Ahead of her loomed a white wolf. "Kaya? What's all the racket about?"

[/color], she exclaimed, opening her mouth, and observing the loud thump-thud-skid as the heavy fowl introduced itself to gravity once more. Taking a step or two more to stand directly over her carcass, she squinted and tried to make out the stranger she thought was the girl she had met earlier, even taking a few whiffs of the air to check.
