Welcome to Orbiting! We are a laid-back, semi-realistic wolf roleplay set on the enormous fictional island of Costiel. We are always open to new members of all levels. There is no word requirement here, but we strive for literacy. Hope you enjoy your stay!

As winter begins to take hold, game is becoming more and more scarce, though an enterprising wolf will still be able to hold their own. At the northern reaches of the island the temperature is ever-frigid. It gradually rises toward the south, but there still isn't a place completely untouched by winter's early effects.

Packlands
	Katrien The Katrien territory is made up of dense, lush forest. The thick verdant underbrush provides a hiding place for many creatures, so naturally this area is teeming with many different types of prey. Small, fast-moving streams cut through the territory, providing a source of fresh water that never runs out. Alpha: N/A; Alphess: N/A.	0	0
	Iridiel At the northernmost reaches of the island lies a territory who's climate seems harsher than the rest. This land of bitter cold and blinding snow may appear uninhabitable during the winter months, but if you can stand the frigidity and know your way around, it can be a perfect home. In part this is an area of flat, treeless tundra up against a glacial ocean, but toward the mainland there is a forest where one can find not only shelter from the cold winds, but also an abundance of game. 	Zenica Made up of predominantly lush grassy meadows interspersed with massive, ancient trees, the Zenica territory is arguably one of the most beautiful. In terms of game, it is home to mostly deer and rabbits, which are easy to run down over the vast expanses of grass. At the heart of the territory is a lake that's clear as glass, which serves as a congregation spot for packmembers. Alpha: N/A; Alphess: Roslyn. 	Divisia A long strip of beach along the eastern side of the island belongs to the Divisia pack. They stake a claim on a small portion of the forests along the shore, but most of the territory is a sandy, barren shoreline. In size, this territory is larger than any of the others. However, prey is nearly scarce year-round, causing members to sometimes resort to hunting on other packlands, which breeds a perpetual distrust between Divisia and the other packs. 	Genskir Forest A small, quiet forest. This was once an area of farmland that was replanted when Costiel became a popular place for wildlife relocation. The reforestation was done not too long ago, which means the forest is still young; the trees are small and there's very little underbrush. 	Astre Fields An expanse of treeless, rocky hills. The wind seems to constantly blow here, its whistling sound never-ending.	0	0
	Rhomosa River A wide river teeming with life. This waterway is lengthy, cutting through a good portion of the island. In some places it is shallow and slow-moving; In others deep and treacherous. 	Magnolska Forest Something about these woods is just eerie. It suffered a fire not long ago, and though some of the trees have survived and some of the foliage regrown, most of the land is barren and blackened.	0	0
	Costiel's Shores Most of Costial's beaches are picture perfect, with white sand and clear waters. There's not much to be had here in terms of prey unless you're a phenomenal fisher, but its a beautiful place to be if you just want to relax.	0	0
	The Edge On the western side of the island, the shore rises far above the waters to create a steep, rocky drop. At this cliffside you can't hear much above the sound of the waves crashing below and the wind's howl. Living things rarely venture here.	0	0
